The house placed, facing east, behind a tall chikoo tree standing in the plot. This allowed for a lush garden. The tree shades the façade from the harsh sun and makes the sit-out a shaded and inviting space.

The family requested that the interiors feel warm and sophisticated and be easy to maintain. The sculptural wooden staircase, finished in warm teak serves this purpose. Its sweeping curves and generous landings provide a dynamic feel.
